It was from West Africa that the slave trade to the Americas was conducted. The slave trade to Asian and Arab countries was conducted from East Africa. The tribal chiefs from both areas used slaves to conduct their business in Africa and also sold the slaves to traders from other lands. Consider the words of Dr. Ben Carson who recently stated the black people of the United States could actually be considered immigrants. They eventually became American citizens after the Civil War, and many people who fought in this war died for this great cause and should be respected, memorialized, and not forgotten.
THE “N” WORD
The “N” word came from the word “nig…”. It was a sacred word used by the ancient Egyptians who called their land “Khemet” or “The Black Land”. It stemmed from the Egyptian word “N-G-R” which had a reference to “God” and also could mean (Net-ger). The Egyptian language used no vowels. It originally referred to people with black skin. However, through time, it has lost its original meaning. Blacks in Egypt called their Pharaohs “En-ger” or N-g-r”. The original Pharaohs were pure Black Africans. For more on this subject, see: “The Original Meaning of the “N” Word” on the internet.
The Romans, who were speakers of Latin, always knew of Blacks…there were Blacks in Rome, Italy and had an ancient Black presence long before the Latins migrated from Central Asia and North Eastern Europe along with the “Aryan” migration. Negro means Black in Portuguese and Spanish whose people did migrate to Africa. The Latin term “Niger” became “Negara”. In the Latin dictionary, “Nigro” means black.
BOKO HARAM, a terror group in West Africa, wants to destroy anything to do with Western culture, including the Christian religion. They continue armed conflicts into 2017 with human rights abuses and genocide. They became active in 2002 in the regions of CHAD, NIGER, NIGERIA, and North Cameroon (part of Central Africa) and have pledged allegiance to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). Obama liked to refer to ISIL instead of ISIS. The “L” in ISIL is derived from the term Levant that refers to the area bounded by Turkey’s Taurus Mountains, the Mediterranean Sea West of the Arabian Desert in the North, Mesopotamia in the West, and the Sinai Peninsula. Levant comprises the al-Nusra Front (meaning “Rising Sun in the East”), another terror group operating in France, Germany, etc. region. The people are called Levantines who worship within the Latin Catholic religion which is Christian. ISIS would not have the area of the Levant as part of their Army since the majority are Christians, and ISIS is part of the Islam religion.
The area of ancient Mesopotamia is an area that encompasses mostly all of Iraq and parts of Turkey, Syria, Kuwait, and Iran. The Mesopotamia region was the home of the ancient race of the Assyrian people who shall not necessarily be considered Syrian; however, there are some people in Syria whose ancestors were Assyrian. Assyrians are Aramaic speaking Christians of the Middle East who have their own language, culture, and heritage. Jesus the Christ is said to have spoken the Aramaic language. Semites were nomadic and therefore lost or had no history or written records of their wanderings and past…this is why they used the Vedas for their history (and probably the Old Testament stories in the Bible). Semites were of the Sumerian race.
The Boko Haram group is considered the world’s deadliest terror group. In 2011, letters from Boko Haram were found in bin-Laden’s compound when it was seized. In 2014, it was known throughout the world that this group had captured 276 schoolgirls. In 2016, UNICEF announced the girls and women that were released faced rejection from much of their homes due to the stigma of sexual activity. Massacres and other atrocities like killing Catholics or Christians were Boko Haram’s means of terror and included using women as suicide bombers. They were never officially accepted by al-Qaeda but do have connections with al-Shabaab in East Africa. Boko Haram had feelers out to attack United States’ and United Kingdom’s embassies, but the plan has been averted. Also, recently, it has been learned that al-Qaeda and ISIS may unite.
LIBERIA enacted a constitution in 1984, and it can be considered having Racial Inequities in Article 27 because it does NOT allow whites to become Liberian citizens. Only persons who are Negroes or of Negro descent shall qualify by birth or by naturalization to be citizens of Liberia.
NIGER, Republic of, is the largest country in Africa inasmuch as size and was named after the Niger River. It has a Democratic society and is part of the Sahara Desert along with Nigeria. Nigeria is smaller in size but has the largest population in Africa. President Trump has sent aircraft to Niger to combat ISIS. These arrangements had been made by Obama in his administration.
NIGERIA, Republic of, has a people and territory known as Hausa Territories. Niger is the language which speaks to the “perfect blackness” of the pure Hausa…also called Hausaland. The people also live in other parts of Africa but are mainly in Niger and Nigeria. There are 42 million Hausa. The Hausa also have a festival called Durbar Festival which is in Nigeria.
The Republic of Mali is located mostly in the Sahara Desert and is the largest country in West Africa. The population is mostly of the Muslim faith. The above scripts were found among Timbuktu manuscripts from the Mali Empire. They are done in the Sudani language showing knowledge of astronomy and mathematics. There have been approximately a million manuscripts found in Timbuktu, Mali. There is a festival called “Masked Ceremonial Dogon” with dancers.
MAURITANIA, Republic of, is the 11th largest country in West Africa. There is a slavery issue there in that 4% of the population are enslaved against their will…especially enemies of the government.
In regard to Racial Inequities in the global picture, in addition to color and ethnic differences, there are Institutionalized Inequities by wealth, income, criminal justice, employment, housing, health care, political power and education…also Symbolic differences that are aimed at Blacks by some parts of society that infer that Blacks are morally inferior to Whites. These differences are not only INCORRECT but underscore differences that no longer have a meaningful reasoning. They do not assist societies to adopt an understanding that could equalize the differences.
History needs to be studied in order to develop a human conscious awareness of Racial Inequities. This could cause peoples’ uncomfortable remarks about racial identities to be powerless. There were also White slaves throughout the Planet Earth’s history. Therefore, white or black, yellow or brown color of humans has caused an ethnic discrimination toward people belonging to certain groups that share cultures, religion, and language. This is called The Human Race.
Next month Central Africa shall be published.
