sungazing-ancientFrom the Aztecs to the ancient Egyptians, many past societies revered Sungazing as a practice for high-ranking priests and shamans. Today, it is experiencing a resurgence in popularity, and Sungazers claim it has its benefits. Sungazing touches spiritual and psychological realms of the human body; however, everyone is wired a little differently, and this practice is not for everyone. An individual should do their own research if they are considering exploring or participating in Sungazing. . .one can then be embarking on a journey with eyes wide open. If Sungazing is done correctly, it “gradually” awakens the Pineal Gland, and the individual is not shocked by the experiences of higher consciousness. The individual should have experienced some form of meditation or pursued some level of raising their spiritual conscious awareness or vibrational frequency levels before experimenting with this energy.

Sungazing is the act of looking into the Sun at sunrise and/or sunset. Research shows the practice stimulates the Pineal Gland. As the sunlight hits the eye, moves through the retinal/hypothalamic tract (shown below) and into the spinal column through neurotransmitters (described later in this post and continued into the next post) the process boosts the secretion of melatonin and serotonin which are our “feel good” hormones. Low serotonin is associated with a decreased functioning of the immune system, and low melatonin is associated with sleeplessness, etc. The immune system consists of white blood cells, lymphatic system, bone marrow, and the thymus gland, etc. as shown:

At dawn, for instance, the solar wind charging the Earth’s magnetic field stimulates the Pineal. This is why the time period of 4:00 am to 6:00 am is the best time to Sungaze (or I may add to also meditate). At sunrise and/or sunset, when the Sun is closest to the Earth, sungazers may stand barefoot (if they prefer) on the Earth (a magnetic field also rises up from the Earth) and look directly at the Sun for ten (10) seconds. . .every day ten(10) more seconds are added, and some sungazers eventually reach a duration of forty-four (44) minutes. It must be added that daylight savings time in the United States must be considered in this time period.

Also at dawn or sunset, the negative (feminine) and positive (masculine) universal electromagnetic forces interact and become strong enough to create a “light in the head” while meditating or Sungazing (I, individually, can only describe this as a tunnel leading to a light at the end). This light can actually be seen by adept people who have raised their spiritual conscious awareness to a higher vibrational level. Some people, in deep meditation, achieve this level and may call it Nirvana (a Hindu expression) which causes blissful egolessness, a pure Self or Soul/Spirit, and peace of Mind. The Pineal Gland, vibrating at a very high rate of speed or energy, is the actual cause of true spiritual illumination or reaching higher levels of vibrational frequencies.

A magnetic field is created when a connection is made between the Soul/Spirit aspects of the Pineal Gland and the Body. The Pineal can generate its own magnetic field because it contains magnetite. Magnetite is a mineral which is associated with the spinal cord and the colloid system that connects to the Central Nervous System (CNS). Magnetite is the most magnetic naturally occurring mineral in the Earth. The magnetic field of the Pineal Gland can interact with both the Earth and Universal electromagnetic charge or field. It would be most advantageous then to allow the bare feet to rest downward while the head is positioned upward thereby receiving and giving energy to both.

nervous-systemThe colloidal system starts with the Pineal Gland by producing melatonin and serotonin which run through the CNS by way of neurotransmitters (continued in the next post). The system is a series of glands, organs, muscles, cells,and molecules, etc. that act together in a common purpose and produce results that would be impossible by the action of one alone. The living system is capable of taking in energy and information which can be called an “energy language“. The Pineal releases higher levels of melatonin during dark hours of the day and falls off during light periods of the day. Therefore, it may be beneficial, for instance, if an individual might want to watch television with the lights turned out. This would create more melatonin for a good night’s sleep.

Neurons are generated in the Pineal and contain neuropeptides. These neurons are sent to and influence the rest of the Body through the colloidal system. The collection of glands in the endocrine system (as shown in the image above) can be thought of as a system. . . each endocrine gland could be viewed as a system. The human body could be thought of then as a living system and the endocrine system as a subsystem.

In deep meditation, there is a feeling of Nirvana as many people who meditate frequently are aware. The energy created is like “brain food” that is rapidly transported across the blood brain barrier (BBB). BBB is a highly selective electromagnetic barrier that separates the circulating blood from the brain’s extracellular body fluid that is not contained in the brain but found in blood, lymph, and body cavities. It acts very effectively to protect the brain from many common bacterial infections; therefore, infections of the brain are very rare. There is an energy field created that is like a pulsating message sent throughout the body. . . an “energy language” so-to-speak. Unlike most of the brain, the Pineal is not isolated from the BBB, and the gland has proficient blood flow.

Brain food is probably a phenethylamine similar to mescaline which is produced naturally in the brain. Mescaline can also be an hallucinogenic from the peyote cactus used by some groups, like Shamans or American Indian spiritual leaders, to acquire the false sense of spiritual awareness. The energy created is like floating bliss, and all other activities surrounding an individual are lost and only the bliss is known. Phenethylamine is a neurotransmitter created to transport melatonin throughout the CNS. The CNS consists of the brain and spinal column, and it communicates electrical information to limbs, trunk, and organs which connect to the muscles and other body parts (see image of colloidal system). The connection may be achieved through methods such as intense meditation, visualization, deep breathing, chanting, and also SUNGAZING.

Research has shown that Vitamin D is absolutely critical for good health and dis-ease. Good sources are SUNLIGHT and foods such as salmon, tuna, and  mackerel, etc. Vitamin D affects an individual’s DNA which bind to specifications of the human genome. The genome is the genetic material of an organism. It is encoded in DNA/RNA. RNA, which runs through DNA, (see Treatise “The Larger Spiritual Order & Universal Scheme of Things-Simplified“), Chapter 9, is the messenger gene. The genome includes both the genes and the non-coding sequences of the DNA/RNA. Genome is a blend of the words “gene” and “chromosome”. DNA is a molecule within which are 46 chromozones (23 female and 23 male). Scientists have identified nearly 3,000 genes that are influenced by Vitamin D levels, and Vitamin D receptors have been found throughout the human body. Is it any wonder then that no matter what dis-ease or condition is investigated in the human body, Vitamin D appears to play a crucial role.

The human body is designed to get the Vitamin D it needs by producing it when the bare skin is exposed to sunlight. Human skin can make large amounts of Vitamin D when lots of sun is exposed, and the sun is high in the sky. However, when an individual has sensitive skin, a supplement of Vitamin D is suggested, or try SUNGAZING.

The Pineal Gland influences the Pituitary Gland, also located in the brain area, which in turn joins the colloidal system. This connection shall be discussed in the next post.

    What if on some days the weather is cloudy. When the sun eventually comes do i continue adding seconds from where i left off the last time there was a sun?
